  • Forging: 850 - 1050°C, cooling in furnace. Normalizing: 850 - 880°C, air cooling. Annealing: 650 - 700°C. Cooling slowly in controlled furnace. Carburizing: 900 - 950°C. Furnace or air cooling. Core Refining: 850 - 880°C. Oil quenching or air cooling. Hardening: 760 - 780°C, oil quenching. Tempering: 180 - 210°C air cooling.
