  • Stress relief at 590-630°C (2 minutes per millimetre of thickness); still air cooling. Quenching at 820°C (1 minute per millimetre of thickness), water cooling. Tempering at 590 - 630°C, 2 minutes per millimetre of thickness, still air cooling.
  • Cold forming or medium temperature forming (t<500°C).
    Level of deformation below 2% - heat treatment: none.
    Level of deformation between 2% and 5% - Stress relief: free heating, soaking at temperature 590-630°C (2 minutes per millimeter of thickness); still air cooling.
    Level of deformation higher than 5% - quenching and tempering: free heating, soaking at 820°C (1 minute per millimetre of thickness); water cooling (quenching); free heating, soaking at temperature 590-630°C (2 minutes per millimeter of thickness), still air cooling (tempering).
