PROPRIETARY Corrodur 4037 Heat Treatments
- It can be soft annealed by holding at a temperature in the range 750-850°C followed by slow cooling in an oven or in air; Tempering treatment is performed as soon as possible after the hardening treatment, whilst ensuring that the component has cooled to room temperature (to ensure that complete transformation to martensite has occurred).
