TU 15GS Heat Treatments

  • Normalization at 900 - 930°C; air cool. Tempering at 650 - 680°C after normalization; air cool. Accelerated cooling from normalization temperature is allowed.
  • Normalization of 900 - 930°C. Allowed the normalization of the hot-deformed pipes with rolling heating. Temperature of end of rolling must not be below the temperature normalization. Tempering at 630 - 670°C after normalization.
