VdTÜV HCM 12 Heat Treatments
- Hardening: 1025 - 1085°C, cooling in air or controlled atmosphere;
Tempering: 790 - 840°C, holding period (according to DIN 17 014): 2 min/mm thickness, min. 60 minutes, cooling in air;
Stress relieving annealing: 700 - 780°C, holding period min.15 minutes, cooling in air.
