PROPRIETARY HPS Heat Treatments

  • Typical: Preheated at 840 - 870°C. Hardened (austenitisation) at 1070°C, air cooled. Tempered at 510 - 540°C. In general: Forged at 1050 - 1150°C. Stress relieved at 850 - 870°C. Preheated at 790 - 900°C. Hardened at 1070 - 1120°C. Tempered at 510 - 590°C.
