- Carburizing: 880-980°C; Direct and simple hardening: 830-870°C; Double hardening - Core hardening: 880-920°C, Case hardening: 780-820°C; Tempering: 150-200°C; Normalizing: 890-930°C; Quenching: 870-910°C; Quenching agent: Water; Tempering: 550-660°C; Time for tempering, as a guide: 1h minimum; Time for austenitising, as a guide: 0.5h minimum.
