AFCEN Z 10 C 13 Heat Treatments
- Austenitizing at a temperature between 960°C and 1050°C, quenching by immersion in water or water spraying, or by immersion in oil, tempering at a temperature selected so as to obtain the required properties, followed by still air cooling. Nominal holding temperature for tempering shall be between 715°C and 770°C.
