PROPRIETARY HTM (30) Heat Treatments
- Normalised to 850 - 880°C for 5 - 10h, cooled in the oven at 10K/h to 700°C, cooled in air. Stress-relieve annealed to 650°C, 2h, slowly cooled to 500°C in the oven and then cooled in air. Quenching medium oil, air or gas. Liquid at approx. 550°C followed by cooling in air. Heat treatment 1: Hardened at 1100°C. Tempered at 500°C. Heat treatment 2: Hardened at 1100°C. Tempered at 580°C. Heat treatment 3: Hardened at 1150°C. Tempered at 520°C. Heat treatment 4: Hardened at 1150°C. Tempered at 600°C. Heat treatment 5: Hardened at 1180°C. Tempered at 520°C. Heat treatment 6: Hardened at 1180°C. Tempered at 600°C.
