PROPRIETARY ATI 304L Heat Treatments
- Solution annealed at 1010-1121°C (1850-2050°F). Cooling from the anneal temperature should be at sufficiently high rates through 816-427°C (1500-800°F) to avoid reprecipitation of chromium carbides. These materials cannot be hardened by heat treatment.
