Heat Treatments

  • Final heat treatment for mechanical properties shall consist of solution heat treatment at a temperature between 1050°C and 1150°C.

Sheets and strip may be delivered on spools.<br> b) Plates > 3 mm thick finished by cold-rolling <br>These plates shall be delivered after cold-rolling. They shall be solution heat treated pickled and passivated. If work-hardening treatment is necessary, it shall be subject to approval.<br>c) Plates > 3 mm thick hot-rolled <br>These plates shall be delivered after hot-rolling. They shall be solution heat treated, pickled and passivated.
