AFNOR NF GX45CrMo5-1 Heat Treatments

  • Quenched and tempered (+QT1): Air quenched at 900 to 950°C and tempered at 200 to 250°C
    Quenched and tempered (+QT2): Air quenched at 900 to 950°C and tempered at 500 to 550°C
    Structure:
    - for +QT1 condition – Martensitic, (austenitic)
    - for +QT2 condition – Martensitic
    Annealed at 650°C or Fully annealed at 800 to 850°C and cooled on slow air.
