PROPRIETARY 60CrMoV 18-5 Heat Treatments


  • Soft annealed at 820-860°C, cooled in furnace. Hardness ≤ 240 HB

    Stress relief annealing at 600-650°C, cooled in furnace

    Hardened at 950-980°C, cooled in oil, pressure gas (N2), air or hot bath (500-550°C). Tempered.

    Stress relief annealing at 600-650°C, cooled in furnace

    Hardened at 950-980°C, quenched in oil, compressed gas (N2), air, hot basin (500-550°C)
