NMX TP 347H Heat Treatments
- If cold working is involved in processing, the minimum solution-treating temperature shall be 1100°C. If the material is hot-rolled, the minimum solution-treating temperature shall be 1050°C. A solution annealing temperature above 1065°C may impair the resistance to the inter-granular corrosion after subsequent exposure to sensitizing conditions.
- Solution treated at minimum 1100°C. Solution annealing at a temperature above 1065°C can decrease resistance to intergranular corrosion. After annealing of solution must be given a stabilization heat treatment at a lower temperature at which the heat treatment use initial solution annealing. The heat treatment temperature stabilization must be by agreement between manufacturer and purchaser.
