DIN 1.4062 Heat Treatments
- For sheet with t <= 10mm, solution annealing at 980 to 1100°C, cooling air in motion (solution heat treatment with a sufficiently rapid cooling) or water; For t > 10 mm, holding time after through heating at 980 to 1100°C min. 5 min and cooling air in motion; Hot forming should be carried out in the temperature range between 1100°C and 950°C.
- Hot forming: 1100 - 950°C, air cooling. Solution annealing: 980 - 1100°C, air, water cooling.
