DIN 1.6909 Heat Treatments

  • Solution treatment at 1000 to 1100°C and quenching in water. Possible with a thickness less than 5 mm, cooling in air. After solution treatment, hot forming at 1150 to 850°C is required. To a heat treatment may be omitted if the hot deformation is closed above 1000°C.
