NBR FCA NiCuCr 15-7-2 Heat Treatments

  • Heat stress relief treatment between 620°C and 650°C for a time not less than 1 h and not more than 2 h for each 25 mm of the thickest part of the piece. The heating and cooling conditions must be established in advance between producer and buyer.
Stabilization treatment of the parts can be made at 870°C for 1 h for each 25 mm of section thickness, to avoid dimensional variations.
Parts with chiselled edges or excessive carbides may be annealed between 940°C and 1040°C for at least 30 min and up to 5h.
