MIL T-16286E Class c Heat Treatments


  • Heat treated: Solution annealed at a min of 2000°F (1093°C) followed by quenching in water or rapidly cooling y other means. Following the solution anneal, the tubes shall be given a stress relief anneal for stabilization within the temperature range of 1500°F (816°C)to 1650°F (899°C).
