PROPRIETARY VDM Aluchrom 4 18 YHf Heat Treatments

  • Soft annealing should be carried out at temperatures above 800°C (1470°F). For optimum properties the material should be water quenched after annealing. Small dimensions can also be cooled down rapidly in air.
