ASME X7Ni9 Heat Treatments
- Quenched and tempered (+QT). (For nominal t < 15 mm, conditions +N plus +NT are also applicable.)
Austenitizing at 770 to 830°C, water or oil cooling.
Tempering at 540 to 600°C, air or water cooling.
