B.S. S 529 Heat Treatments
- Heated for 30 minutes at a temperature of 650+/-10°C and cooled in air. It shall then be immersed for 72 hours in a boiling solution having the following composition: 111g copper sulfate crystals (CuSO4 5H2O) 98g concentrated sulphuric acid (specific gravity 1.84) made up to 1 litre with distilled water.
