VdTÜV X2CrNiN23-4 Heat Treatments
- Solution annealing at 930°C to 1100°C, rapid cooling in water or air. Recommended holding period for sheets: heating at 980°C to 1050°C for at least 5 minutes and under 980°C, at least 20 minutes.
The material can be cold and hot formed.
Hot forming should be carried out in the temperature range between 1100°C and 900°C. After hot forming, specified heat treatment is required.
After cold forming with degrees of deformation above 10%, specified heat treatment is required.
If determined elongation is under 30% and cold forming over 5%, specified heat treatment is required.
