PROPRIETARY DMo5 Heat Treatments
- Hot forming and heat treatment: Forging at 1160 - 900°C; Annealing at 820 - 850°C for 8 h.
Hardening (quenching in oil, air or hot bath): 1200 - 1240°C.
Tempering temperature: minimum 540 - 560°C, 2 x 1 h. - Soft annealing: 780 - 860°C, furnace cooling.
Stress Relieving: 600 - 650°C, furnace cooling.
Hardening: 1180 - 1230°C, oil, compressed gas (N2), air or hot bath 500 - 550°C cooling.
