VdTÜV TStE355 Heat Treatments
- Tempering: hardening at 860 to 940°C, cooling after reaching the temperature in the entire cross section in water, oil or air; Annealing at 560 to 700°C, holding period at least 30 minutes, cooling in still air; Normalizing 880 to 960°C, cooling after the temperature in the entire cross section in still air.
