WB 560/2: 2011 / Heat-resistant steel X12CrCoWMoVNb12-2-2; WN 1.4915 (VM12-SHC), seamless pipe

Heat Treatments

  • Hardened: 1040 to 1080°C, air cooled; Tempered: 760 to 800°C, at least 60 min and air cooled
  • Normalizing and tempering (+NT): 1040-1080°C, air cooling. Tempering: 760-800°C, air cooling. It may be necessary in the case of wall thickness T above 10 mm or T/D > 0.15 to apply quenching and tempering in order to achieve the intended structure and material properties.
