ASTM A 453 Grade 665 Class B Heat Treatments
- Solution treatment at 1095 ± 14°C (2000 ± 25°F) for 3 hours and then liquid quench.
Hardening treatment at 730 to 760°C (1350 to 1400°F), hold for 20 hours, furnace cool to 650 ± 14°C (1200 ± 25°F) and hold for 20 hours, then air cool.
