ASTM F738 Class A1-50 S30433 Heat Treatments
- Condition AF: annealed by heating to 1040 (+/-30°C), at which time the chromium carbide will go into solution. The fasteners shall be held for a sufficient time and then cooled at a rate sufficient to prevent precipitation of the carbide and to provide the specified mechanical properties.
