GB A76282 Heat Treatments
- Quenching in water or oil: 900°C; Tempering: 320°C.
The heat treatment temperatures are allowed to be adjusted within the following ranges: Normalizing: ± 20°C
Quenching: ± 30°C
Tempering: ± 30°C (according to the purchaser’s requirements)
Steel shall be subjected to the end-quench hardenability test: Normalizing at 900 to 930°C and End-quench at 900 ± 5°C.
