GB 12Cr2Mo1 Heat Treatments
- Elimination force processing temperature range: 650 - 760°C; For steel tubes with t<=30 mm, normalizing plus tempering: temperature for normalizing is 900°C to 960°C and for tempering is 700°C - 750°C. For steel tubes with t>30 mm, quenching plus tempering or normalizing plus tempering; temperature for quenching is 900°C, temperature for tempering is 700 to 750°C, temperature for normalizing is 900°C to 960°C, temperature for tempering is 700°C to 750°C but steel tubes shall be cooled down rapidly after normalizing.
