- Heat treatment shall be performed after welding at min 1020°C (1870°F), water quench or rapidly cooled by other means, tempering temperature is not required.
No final heat treatment of welded fittings (HT-O) fabricated from ferritic/austenitic plate that has been heat treated is required.
