GB A77552 Heat Treatments
- Quenching in oil: 860°C; Tempering: 460°C.
The heat treatment temperatures are allowed to be adjusted within the following ranges: Normalizing: ± 20°C
Quenching: ± 50°C
Tempering: ± 30°C (according to the purchaser’s requirements).
Steel shall be subjected to the end-quench hardenability test: Normalizing at 880 to 920°C and End-quench at 860 ± 5°C.
