AS AS 2074/H10C Heat Treatments

  • Castings shall be supplied in the solution annealed condition. The heat treatment shall consist of heating uniformly to minimum temperatures of 1120°C followed by water quenching. After heat treatment at 1120°C alternatively maybe furnace cooled to 1010°C, held for a suitable period, then water quenched.
