AS AS 2074/H3D Heat Treatments
- Castings in this grade shall be heat treated by heating to 1010°C minimum, then air cooling to 95°C or lower, then tempering. If multiple tempers are used, the castings shall be allowed to cool to 95°C or lower after each intermediate temper. The final or only temper shall be in the ranger 565-620°C.
