AS JN/HBW500Cr9 Heat Treatments
- For simple shapes: heat treatment at 800°C to 850°C for 6 h to 12 h followed by air or furnace cooling. Where maximum resistance to repeated impact is required: heat treatment at 800°C to 850°C for 8 h to 16 h followed by air or furnace cooling and then tempering at 250°C to 300°C for 8 h to 12 h with air or furnace cooling.
