SAE Marage 200 Heat Treatments
- Annealing: Heated to a temperature within the range 816 to 927°C (1500 to 1700°F), held at the selected temperature within ± 14°C (± 25°F) for 1 hour minimum, and cooled to room temperature in air or other atmosphere at a rate equivalent to an air cool or faster. Maraged by heating to 510°C ± 6°C (900°F ± 10°F), held at heat for 3 to 6 hours, and cooled to room temperature.
