PROPRIETARY BE2067 Heat Treatments
- Annealing at 740 - 770°C (1365 - 1420°F).
Stress relieving around 650°C (1200°F).
Hardening: Austenitizing at 830 - 860°C (1525 - 1580°F), holding time 15 - 30 minutes and quenching in oil.
Tempering: slow heating to tempering temperature immediately after hardening, holding in furnace for 2 h (recommended 4 - 6 h). Cooling in furnace until the temperature have fallen below 100°C (210°F).
