ASTM A 891 Type 2 Heat Treatments
- Solution annealed at 980 ± 14°C (1800°F ± 25°F) for 2 to 5 h at temperature, liquid quenched. Precipitation hardened at 770 ± 8°C (1420 °F ± 15°F) for 16 h at temperature, air cooled; 650 ± 8°C (1200°F ± 15°F) for 16 h at temperature air cooled.
