PROPRIETARY E360 Heat Treatments


  • Hot forming: 1050 - 850°C. Soft annealing (+A): 690°C, air cooling. Isothermal annealing (+I): 790°C, furnace cooling to 660°C then air cooling. Normalizing: 825 - 885°C, air cooling. Quenching: 830°C, water cooling. Quenching: 850°C, oil, polymer cooling. Tempering: 550 - 650°C, air cooling. Stress relieving (+SR): 50°C under the temperature of tempering.
