PROPRIETARY RM 189 Heat Treatments
- Soft annealing: heat to 780 - 840°C then slow furnace cooling.
Hardening: heat to 1000 - 1050°C. Cooling in oil.
Tempering: 100 - 200°C.
Nitriding is possible.
