PROPRIETARY S N Heat Treatments
- Soft annealing: heat to 720°C for 5 - 6h, then slow furnace cooling.
Hardening: heat to 840 - 870°C. Cooling in air, warm bath from 180 - 220°C or oil, interrupt oil cooling at approx. 150°C.
Tempering: 100 - 300°C.
