- Soft annealing (annealing only in neutral atmosphere) at 880 to 900°C, cooling in furnace; Stress relief annealing at 600 to 650°C, cooling in furnace; Hardening at 980 to 1100°C, cooling in oil, pressure gas (N2), air or hot bath at 500 to 550°C.
