PROPRIETARY C50E Heat Treatments
- Hot-forming at 1100 to 850°C.
Normalizing (+N) at 860°C, air.
Quenching (+Q) at 830, water or Quenching (+Q) at 850, oil or polymer. Tempering (+T) at 550 to 650°C, air. Str.reliev (+SR) 50° under the temperature of tempering.
Soft annealing (+A) at 700°C, air.
Isothermal annealing (+I) at 800°C, furnace cooling to 660°C, than air.
End quench hardenability at 850°C, water.
Mechanical properties at different tempering temperatures obtained after quenching at 830°C in water.
