DIN 1.3327 Heat Treatments
- Austenitized at 1190 ± 10°C and quenched. Usual quenching media in practice are air, gas or salt bath. Total heating time of test pieces in a salt bath is 3 min. for hardening and minimum 2 periods of 60 min. each for tempering.
Tempered at 560 ± 10°C.
