- Hot-forming at 1050 to 850°C.
Normalizing at 870°C, air.
Quenching at 850 to 880°C, oil or polymer.
Tempering at 400 to 450°C, air.
Hot moulding of springs 920 to 830°C.
Soft annealing at 700°C, air.
Isothermal annealing at 820°C, furnace cooling to 710°C, than air.
End quench hardenability at 850°C, water.
Mechanical properties at different tempering temperatures obtained after quenching at 850°C in oil. - Oil quenching: 820-880°C.
