IS 12Cr9Mo10H Heat Treatments


  • Normalizing: 900-960°C, 1-2 min per 1 mm thickness of forging or pipe wall but not less then 20 min; Tempering: 650-780°C , 1-3 min per 1 mm thickness but not less than 15 min; Stress relief of annealing or tempering after bending or welding: 730-760°C, 2 min per 1 mm thickness but not less than 15 min; Quenching: 930-1030°C, cooling in oil or water; Tempering: 650-760°C.
