ASTM A 965 S34709 Heat Treatments
- The minimum solution annealing temperature shall be 1050°C (1925°F).
On completion of forging operations, the forgings shall be solution annealed and quenched in water, oil, or a polymer water solution until the forging(s) are below 260°C (500°F).
