ASTM A 182 F 316Ti Heat Treatments
- After hot working, forgings shall be cooled to a temperature below 538°C (1000°F) prior to heat treating.
Solution treating and quenching: austenitizing/solution heat treatment temperature 1038°C (1900°F) minimum, liquid cooling. Quenching cool below 260°C (500°F).
