GB U20402 Heat Treatments
- Normalizing at 860°C; Quenching at 840°C; Tempering at 600°C.
- Recommended heat treatment: Normalized at 860 ± 30°C for not less than 30 min per 25 mm, air cooled, quenched at 840 ± 20°C for not less than 30 min per 25 mm, water quenched, tempered at 600 ± 50°C for not less than 1 h per 25 mm.
