- Oil or water quenching: 820-860°C (1/2 hour), Tempering: 540-660°C (1 hour).
- TC+TA - Cold drawn and annealed to maximum hardness requirements; P+TA - Peeled and annealed to maximum hardness requirements; G+TA - Ground and annealed to maximum hardness requirements; TC+TQ+TT - Cold drawn and quenched + tempered; P+TQ+TT - Peeled and quenched + tempered; G+TQ+TT - Ground and quenched + tempered; Hardening: 820-860°C (1/2 hour), water or oil quench; Tempering: 540-680°C (1 hour);
