PROPRIETARY SV Heat Treatments
- Annealing at 720 - 740°C, hold for 3 - 5h, furnace cooling to 500°C, cooling in air. Stress relieving at 600 - 650°C, hold for 2h, cooling in air. Hardening: preheat to 350 - 450°C, heat to hardening temperature of 780 - 800°C with quenching in water, 800 - 830°C with quenching in fluid oil. Tempering at 150 - 220°C for at around 2h, then cooling in still air.
